All of our gravels and sands are sold by the weight, meaning you pay for the exact amount of material that is on your truck. First, your truck or the dump truck your material will be delivered in is weighed "empty". Next, the material is loaded onto the truck and driven back onto the scale for a "full weight". The empty weight is deducted from the full weight to get a total weight of the material that has been loaded on the truck. When you drive onto our scale you will see the weight of your truck and any material loaded on your truck on the convenient digital display located on the side of our scale house (see below). This process allows our customers to pay for the exact amount of material they receive.
